What a lovely book, perfect for my reluctant reader 9 year old boy.

The stories are interesting & exciting; they are broken down into chapters of a few pages making it very accessible to a younger reading.

The illustrations are utterly delightful & atmospheric.

Really a lovely book that's a bit different from the usual.

Lots of geographic details and local legend to learn about too. A fantastic book with wonderful and stunning art work.
